About EIS

Division of Natural Environment and Information Research

This research division seeks to clarify the origin of the planet and natural environmental mechanisms and principles through surveying, monitoring and experimentation on the basis of ecology, earth science and geo-engineering. At the same time, it predicts the environmental impact of human activity and develops evaluative techniques through the use of toxicity and other testing on living organisms and simulation technology based on information-media science. Based on the results of environmental impact assessments, the division pursues designs to minimize the environmental burden of human activities through the integration of engineering incorporating both ecology and biotechnology with appropriate methods.
